Psychedelic Assisted Therapy
In Oregon, psilocybin has been decriminalized and is now being used for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Clinical trials have also shown that psilocybin can treat eating disorders and addiction. The nationwide clinical trials are current, as this new form of psychological treatment is being studied to find approval with the FDA. In Maryland, Johns Hopkins is a leader in clinical trials, as well as research with Veterans and PTSD. The Lightchaser Institute can provide data of the various trials of the recent past, for those who are interested in further understanding this new treatment modality.
Alina Lightchaser has recently received her certification in this cutting edge field for psilocybin assisted therapy in Oregon. Although psilocybin treatment is only legal in Oregon at this time, Lightchaser can provide psychedelic integration sessions in Maryland.
